Leadership
This commitment is
demonstrated by the leadership record of the firm's partners. H. G. Wells founded the law
firm many years ago and is a former president of the Tarrant County
Bar Association and the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association. Davis Purcell
and John Brookman have also served as president of the Tarrant County Trial
Lawyers Association and Ken Kraatz serves currently on the Tarrant County Trial
Lawyers Association Board of Directors.
H.G. Wells and Davis Purcell have both served several years on the State Bar of
Texas local grievance committee, which considers possible misconduct by other
lawyers.
Trial Specialists
H.G. Wells served on the original Texas Board of Legal Specialization for Personal Injury Trial Law and was first certified by the Board in 1978, although he does not have an active trial docket and does not maintain his certification. Dave Purcell (first certified in 1988) and Ken Kraatz (first certified in 1994), and John Brookman (first certified in 1997) are currently Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Board of Legal Specialization. They have decades of trial experience in state and federal courts.
